Bill Potter – CEO
Bill Potter co-founded MessageBroadcast.com, and grew the company into a nationally recognized pioneer and policy-maker in the emerging automated multichannel communication industry. MessageBroadcast’s entrance into Voice Broadcasting began in 1998 when leading telephony scientists and marketers joined forces to develop today’s direct marketing solutions. Mr. Potter developed and acquired technologies that would provide a full suite of voice and telephony marketing based services.

 

In addition to his corporate roles in direct marketing and telecommunications, Potter spent many years as a strategic advisor to small, medium and large companies from coast to coast. His leadership and consulting has aided numerous companies to maximize shareholder value and attain best levels of company performance. comprehensive analysis, bottom-line impact initiatives, and exit strategy planning were all hallmarks of his professional work with companies during all stages of corporate development.

 

David Baker – President
David Baker has over 20 years of experience in the field of media technology, with a unique background that includes corporate top management and proprietary technology development.

 

With a formal educational background in Electronic Engineering, Broadcast Engineering and Telecommunications, he began his executive career as President of Electronic Integration Systems, Incorporated (EISI). For nearly a decade, Baker directed the design, development and execution of EISI’s multi-million dollar electronic automation projects nationwide.

 

In 1996, he was named Senior Vice President for Network Event Theatre (NET). NET, a nationwide network of satellite delivered Digital Cinemas, provided entertainment to the college market. Leveraging his experience in digital content delivery, Baker accepted a position as Senior Director, Business Development for CyberStar (a Loral Company). CyberStar, a satellite services provider, pioneered internet protocol television (IPTV) over digital video broadcast (DVB).

 

Baker became Executive Director of Boeing’s Digital Cinema effort in January 2000, orchestrating the collaboration between Miramax, Disney, AMC, TI and Boeing, and executing numerous important Digital Cinema milestones. In 2003, he became President of World Media eXchange (WMX), a security solutions provider for digital media distribution. Baker, the inventor of the company’s core solution, holds a United States patent for the media exchange process.

 

Having joined MessageBroadcast as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development in 2005, Baker was promoted to President in 2009. His responsibilities include senior management of the organization, developing new market initiatives and promoting existing product / service offerings.

 

Jeffery Lee Peterson
The original system architect and primary coder behind the current MessageBroadcast platform, Jeff has been involved in the messaging industry for the past 15 years. Programming since the early days of the personal PC (he wrote his first video game program at the age of 12), Jeff formalized his knowledge base while at the University of California Riverside – graduating in 1992 with a degree in Physical Science based on a mixture of Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

 

As the founder of multiple profitable technology companies, Jeff’s reliable and accurate system designs have delivered literally billions of customized, interactive, multichannel communications for many of the largest corporations in the world. Jeff works with a variety of innovative technologies and is a master of figuring out ways to mix the new and old in a timely and cost effective manner. From custom code, to open source or commercial off the shelf products, Jeff is able to integrate the top technologies to get preeminent results.

 

With a “Get it Done” attitude, success is only a matter of where Jeff’s attentions are focused.

 

Jim Peterson – IT Director of Operations
As Primary IT contact, Jim plans, develops, tests, and documents all systems programs. He evaluates requests for new or modified programs in reference to cost and time required compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities. He consults with clients to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Jim keeps current with training systems, periodicals, and technical reports to facilitate development of innovative programs that meet user requirements. He has over 10 years programming experience in multiple operating systems including DOS, Windows 95 to Server 2008. He has programming experience in multiple languages including, HTML, ASP.Net, XML, XHTML, Java, Ajax, Cold Fusion and multiple database languages.

 

Jim plans and develops methods and procedures for implementing programs, directs and coordinates program activities, and, exercises control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of program. He is our primary DBA. He controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations. He has held various executive management positions with Fortune 1000 companies. He holds a B.A. in Business from Cal State Fullerton with a minor in Computer Science.

 

Tani Thakrar – Client Services and Program Innovation Manager
Tani oversees and manages our Client Services and Program Innovation work team. She is involved in the strategic planning and implementation of all program specs, as well as the on-boarding of all programs from start to implementation. She ensures quality assurance for each program prior to launch, educates and answers any client questions, and provides unequalled support for all clients.

Her six-plus years at MessageBroadcast on the Client Services team and experience with hundreds of clients from Financial Services, Retail, Insurance, Broadcast, Telecom, and Government provide her with the foundation and expertise to launch large-scale programs. Tani stays abreast of the latest compliance updates and is able to give strategic foresight for program management.

 

Prior to MessageBroadcast, Tani served as a Department Manager for Advantage Sales and Marketing (ASM). Her role at ASM was to launch large scale programs while managing teams of fifty-plus account managers. She held her position at ASM for over 3 years before being recruited to MessageBroadcast. Tani holds a B.S. in International Business and Marketing from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
