Account Manager

Job Description

The MessageBroadcast Account Manager will work in the Client Services department. This individual is responsible for managing key accounts and executing program requirements. This role is a senior individual contributor with proven skills to build relationships, manage large programs, provide continuity of leadership, develop communication plans, ensure high levels of client engagement, drive continual improvement and ensure the success of our customers.



  • You will be responsible for achieving revenue goals and assigned strategic account objectives, including.

  • Move key accounts from the initial contact phase all the way through implementation.

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

  • Represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers.

  • Lead the customer account planning cycle and ensure assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

  • Proactively lead account planning process that develop performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for the duration of the contract.

  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis to ensure the highest satisfaction.

  • Leads new expansion opportunities within the account from solution development, preparation of complex business cases to contract negotiations and launch.

  • Enthusiastically represent MessageBroadcast’s technology and Solutions.



  • 3-5 years of experience working in the account management function in the telco industry or in business consulting

  • A deep understanding of telco and digital industry

  • A deep understanding of the SMS world

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking and innovation

  • Experience with budget management and cost control

  • Excellent verbal and written English

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable in a field that combines elements of multiple disciplines (technology, marketing, etc.)
