PARTNER SALES DIRECTOR

We are seeking a Partner Sales Director to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption across the U.S. through partner engagement.

Reporting to our VP Sales & Marketing, you’ll establish, manage, and grow the day-to-day relationships with C-level, sales, and strategic partners to drive services revenue with account teams and customers as this role often sells into the CPO/VP of Product.

  • You’re a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against partner account plans and a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets.
  • You’ve got a strong technical acumen, along with a working knowledge of software architecture and the enterprise software landscape.
  • You leverage existing relationships and build new relationships with desired partners to meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • You’ve got a track record of success as well as meeting and exceeding sales and revenue growth targets.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (highly preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in partner sales management
  • Experience selling SaaS products (highly preferred)
  • 10+ years’ experience in the communications/software industry (influencing On-Prem & Cloud Solution customer buying behaviors and trends highly preferable)
  • Experience in the utilities industry is key; experience in healthcare is a plus
  • Knowledge of positioning various communication technologies: omnichannel communications, e.g., voice, SMS, email, social
  • Cloud Contact Center Solutions
  • Unified Communications Solutions
  • VOIP/SIP
  • Negotiating and closing high-value deals
  • Establishing and managing customer expectations
  • Influencing and collaborating across organizational boundaries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software (Salesforce preferred)

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Exceeding new logo sales targets (bookings, minimum revenue commitments) as well as targets for specific solutions (CPaaS, Managed Solutions)
  • Aligning with regional, cross-functional teams, including engineering and account executives, to drive all business development planning including building a sales/revenue plan and joint marketing activities
  • Driving and realizing Message Broadcast corporate objectives
  • Creating a partner ecosystem and go-to-market strategy with tech partners, system integrators and solution providers
  • Accurately forecasting sales lifecycle and stages in Salesforce; maintaining accurate dashboards
  • Providing timely and accurate feedback on go-to-market strategy, offers, promotions, and recruiting efforts, etc.
  • Traveling as required to participate at industry events / present as needed and where Message Broadcast has a presence
  • Customer/Partner meetings, kickoffs
  • Managing overall P&L and growth for the relationship
  • Providing timely, detailed, and accurate reporting to internal and external audiences (travel, schedules, events, expense reports, etc.) as requested by leadership
  • Championing partner needs across internal departments
  • Other duties as assigned
